Why Is Showbox Not Working?

- Open the About Phone and look for the Build Number.
- When you see it, tap on it seven times until it prompts that the Developers Options.
- Press the Back button to get out of the About Phone, and you will see that the Developers Option is now visible from the list.
- Click on the Developers Option and look for the Awesome Player and enable it.
- If it is already enabled, disable it and restart the phone.
- Now try playing video on the app. If it is still showing error, enable the Awesome Player again. It should fix the playback error now.
- If it is still showing error, uninstall and reinstall the Twitter app and the Google Plus Updates. Somehow, these apps affect Showbox access to system codecs. You may update those apps again once the problem is solved.
Issue#2 — Server Down
This error is due to some location related issues. As you might have known, some countries use server restrictions from specific countries. One of the common examples are servers from China, India, Iran, Bahrain and many more.
Issue #3—App Won’t Open
If the app doesn’t open despite the many attempts that you click it, there must be some broken data on the side of the app. What you should do is go to the Settings > App > Showbox and clear the data. Do not forget to press Force Close as well.
Now go back to the app’s main icon from the app drawer and click on it. This should now fix the app.
Issue #4—App Restarts
If the app restarts while you are using it, it usually indicates a low RAM available. So it will be better if you clear the list of open apps by pressing the recent button.
